…aka Mr. Pritchard–if for no other reason than it sounds cool. Nice to meet you 🙂
So, I suppose an introduction is in order. Honestly, I’m not 100% sure why I made the snap decision to start a blog but I feel like it has a lot to do with the fact that I enjoy posting the occasional rant on Facebook. The reason I chose to title it “Factual Opinions” is simply because every opinion I have is based on research and due diligence.
My hope is that I find some like minded individuals who value those opinions and share some of their own along the way. You know, I also hope that some people who don’t agree with me read them too and share their own opinions because, let’s be honest, who doesn’t enjoy the occasional lively discussion and/or spirited debate. Either way, I truly just feel like someone, somewhere, will gain some insight from something I say.
So, what will I be saying? Well, It will be mostly either one of two subjects I thoroughly enjoy discussing: politics or religion.
What I’ve said these past couple years on social media on these two topics have caused me to be labeled a xenophobe, a racist, a religious zealot, a hate preacher, and more–ad nauseum–by my liberal and leftists friends–yes, you read that right: friends. Because no matter how much they believe I’m the above mentioned things, I’m none of them, as you will surely see over time.

Are Origin-based Naming Conventions Racist?

Someone mentioned the fact that naming the 1918 flu pandemic the "Spanish Flu" has been racist for a hundred-and-some-odd years. But it's naming had nothing to do with Spanish people, and everything to do with Spanish media.
